thanks for the replies!
I am considering Flutter for the cross platform feature.
The problem of using just web tech is the issue of 100% access. The office is in a remote location that normally has good internet - until it doesn't. The other issue is the all the different devices.

I could run the web server locally and that would work for 20-25 ppl but there are about 25 ppl more not local. The upload speed is not very good (can't buy more). I'm thinking tablets and desktops (mac's, windows, linux) will be the devices used. Now all of those would work with a web app - true! But the programming time will be longer (I actually don't know that to be true). Working with just one language seems like it would be better that using some frame work created from HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Maybe Flutter is just BS - really don't know - like so many other tech. And yes google might just drop Flutter just like MS dropped Fox!

Hello John,

Tough decision! Why Flutter in particular?

Do you have people around you that are using it or seriously considering going that way? Is it only because, like many other developers do from time to time, you are looking for the perfect environment?

I'm on my way to learn Javascript and React. Not started yet because I still have some things to finish in Fox. I decided to go the javascript way because of a White Paper written by Les Pinter. So I guess that Les Pinter will probably make my transition easier.

Regards
