Thank you. I have VS 2015 and .NET Framework 4 too. I saw a thread on stackoverflow, regarding this "feature" of closing or not the command window. But it was mostly referring to VS 2017.
I will have to give up on this. Maybe, some day, I will discover a setting that controls this.
