When I look at my email IMAP settings I see the following:
[x] Don't Save Copies of Sent Items (This is puzzling to me as to why this was a default)
[x] Purge Items when switching folders while online (This one I also do not know if I need to change or not)
Keep Mail Offline for ALL (I suppose this is good)

What I did, when testing. I received a test email to the .OST file. But then I moved it to my .PST file. And it worked.
