Hi Experts,

There are times wherein I am trying to connect to MySQL 8.x via MySQL ODBC 8.0 Unicode Driver from VFP and it will yield an unresponsive result (hangs indefinitely)!

I had to terminate VFP using Task Manager and try again for a couple of times before it finally goes through.

This used to happen sparingly, but lately is getting a tad too annoyingly often for comfort.

Any known causes for this? I use SQLSTRINGCONNECT().
