"Need" is too strong - convinience, starting in stone age.
1 family&friends (outgoing number suppressed),
1 biz phone, 1 biz fax (still high tech here for IRS or court usage)
1 "personal" with # mnemotechnically very close to cell phone

and an attitude on "Do I take that call now" ;-)
