Unreliable. It may cease to run for any number of reasons, mostly when the admin changes and the new one starts enforcing passwords and/or stricter rights - everybody forgets the scheduled task and its requirements, and it simply stops. That's advertised in the system logs, so anyone can see it, right? On the average, it takes about three weeks to notice.
