>A client wants me to add a facility for his application to exchange data with a website. The website's SDK calls for POSTs and returns JSON. Looks like either Chilkat or wwIPStuff will give me what I need for the communication, so looking for opinions. (If I go with Chilkat, I'll probably use Bill Anderson's new VFPX wrapper class for it.)

Seconding Victor on importance of security related stuff.
I know Rick has implemented some security / certificate needing stuff by now -
years ago I had to implement FTPS and SFTP to big iron instances and
wwIPStuff back then could not do that.
Went with a COM based solution - worked, even going "forward" to RPC calls,
but the certificate stuff created most of maintainance hassles later.
Weigh coverage of this area plus availability of author help a lot when comparing.
