>>Is there a way to insure that VFP places the FXP in the folder the PRG are located?
I agree this could be a pita in VFP9 ever since Vista, but less so with VFPA. I haven't seen this annoying problem in years. Incidentally, newer VFPA also started relocating foxuser and other necessarily read/write resources out of the VFP install folder into appdata where they belong. So you can have vfpa installed in program files (x86) without the usual UAC issues. Maybe consider installing VFPA with 0 "no additional access" setting and see whether it still happens in VFPA.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
