As the others suggest, you can run each page single with NOPAGEEJCET clause. You need to do this twice to get total page number, and must calculate summaries outside the report engine.
Depending on what one is doing, an additional detail band can start on a new page, and if you find something with grouping you can force it into the layout you like.
Note that groups work not only on fields but on any expression.
