After the other message I poked around in the VCX, Now it becomes funny.
As everyone sees in the designer, column17 is zorder - bottom (first left) and with ColumnOrder = 3
Now use the vcx as a cursor and search the record with the grid (objname=='GridFiles' AND parent='gf_resultsform.containerRight.Container1').
Check field Properties, look up column17. There is no value for ColumnOrder. But Column1 has ColumnOrder set to 3.. There is no record for column at all. Next row (next in ZOrder defines the Header for Column17) So there is a magic internal scheme to rename the columns. OMIPU. I need a drink. Urgent.
