They are mapping strawberry genomes and using AI to teach a machine to pick strawberries. The real tech item to me was the computer they are using. It's caller "HiPerGator". HiPerGator features a speed of one quintillion floating point operations per second. That's 18 zeros. According to the article HiPerGator is a million times faster tan the "big Blue" that IBM souped up 20 years ago to win a chess match against a grand master.
