I resolved similar glitches in the past by recreating the project. I ended up with this simple technique you probably already know, but:
1) In the VFP IDE, create a new project
2) In Project Manager, drag the Data, Documents, Class Libraries, Code and Other root folders from the old project to the new. This brings all the source files across to your new project, meaning just 5 mouse drags to recreate the whole thing.
3) Try to recompile the new project. If it works, archive the damaged old project and rename your new one to replace it.
