There were several dozen points in the application that did this. Each had its own method of doing the same thing with similar results. I consolidated them all to call a single routine. The task was completed in less time than management expected. I thought I did good. But the end result was that my contract (and money flow) ended. Good luck, Bad luck, who knows!
