>I want to auto-generate primary keys for multiple tables. I have learned how to auto-generate a primary key for one table, but have no idea what to write for code in the stored proceedure window for multiples. I want to only have one SYSINFO table ( I assume I can list all my primary keys in this SYSINFO table; Ex. > lastcustomer in in record one, lastorder in field two, etc.) associated with the stored proceedure for all my primary keys instead of having 10 or more. I can't use the information that some developers helped me with yesterday until I learn the code I need to program into the stored proceedure window.
I use only *one* generator for all tables, which allows me to use the same numbering function everywhere. My primary keys are INTEGER, and having about 2 billion possible keys allows for sharing the generator among many tables.
