Back from a five-day sentence for Covid. It was a “mild dose” because I’d been vaccinated but at my age it gets sketchy and thanks to everyone who cared for me, I’m back home typing this.
The scene at the hospital is chaos. Covid is anything but behind us.
To put it in our terms, there’s infinite input facing finite capacity at these facilities with no plan for the excess.
I met some extortionary people who come in day after day knowing that they can’t possibly finish the job but still keeping coming back knowing that tomorrow will only be worse.

We have some heroes amongst us, and I just met some.
