>All my Win95 users are freezing up too. Can't even ctrl-alt-del. DCOM98 installed, and going through a successful installation from the new VFP6 installation wizard hasn't helped. I can't get it to happen on my machines. I've noticed that having IE4 on machines prevents errors that DCOM98 did not. Are any of the machines that are freezing up on your system blessed with IE4? I hadn't made a connection yet, but I know at least one user froze after previewing a report. I'm on the verge of sending out 300 updates, but this really puts a crimp in my plans. please let me know if you find out anything. and YES I am running on all the latest service packs and downloads!

Yup it happens after leaving multiple previews to us also. I think maybe it is call MicroSoft and dig out the credit card time. The original crash was on a plane jane win95 machine with old IE. We ran it on a Dell Lattitude with IE 4.01 and it also crashed.

It is sooo gratifying to find out I am not all alone. I am about to release my version too.

It might be good to get together over a land line and talk. I have had problems in the past with VFP5 also ( NT4 DrWatson on exiting Debug, and some GFPs on Win95). Small code changes cleared the Win95 but not the debug errors.

My company e-mail address is thobart@kfh.org I am there 8am to 5pm today. My normal work hours at that address are 8-5 M-W & F - Pacific Time.

Any contact or info is GGGGRRRREEEEAAAAATTTLLLYYY anticipated and appreciated.

It is impossible to make programs idiot proof. Idiots are too cleaver.
