Ed, you didn't specify that your dual processor machine was using dual 400's. Because of that, I guessed that it might be a slower processor.

How do you explain Ariadne's problem?

Your answer to the trivia question was off by 5 MHz. The 333 runs with a 95 MHz and a muliplier of 5. As soon as I saw a K6-2 333, I wondered what bus speed they were running at...only 66 made sense (and I thought the K6-2 300 would then be a faster choice due to the 100 MHz bus)...so I looked into it and found they run a 95 MHz bus speed.
