I am glad to hear that 6.0 lets you decide where to create the form from, as changing the default all the time would make the option pretty much useless for my needs...You can't derive a new .scx form from an existing .scx form. You can save the first form as a new class in a vcx and then derive from it. I have 2 form classes that I normally use for most forms during app development, and I don't create new forms all that often, compared to the time spent working with the form. SO it's not really a problem to go change the form template.
