I used the last original pkzip25.exe from Phil Katz, cca 1998. Wrapped it in Ed Rauh's api_apprun so it'd run in a hidden shell window, even caught its log and, error log, checked for errors. Still works, even under wine on linux. And I think it still works with the last app I worked on, IOW it's still in production at some 80 places around the world.
The documentation is one page and is complete. It's a command line utility.
