A couple of years ag, I purchased this COM-Excel-resources-handler but, alas, I never took the time to implement it. But it has been on the market for a long, long time. And is currently fully supported and as far as my past tests could go, can both read and write MS resources in quite a decent way from our dear old fox.

IMHO should Excel-via-COM become unworkable (or too slow) from VFP, this is possibly a solution or at least a decent fix. But, sure, it has a cost, This brilliant C++ developer needs to make a living. As we do here :-) And of course, MS does NOT pay his bill and time!
