Hi,
Currently my program sends an email with a link/URL (in the body of the email) that allows a user to open an html (actually ASPX) page pointing to the URL. This works.
As an alternative, I am exploring an option of sending some data to the email and allow user to open the data in an html page in a temporary browser on a smart phone. Of course, I don't know if a page can be opened in a browser of the smart phone.
Here is a simplified example.
Information to be sent to the email:
Order No. String of the order number.
Equipment ID (string of up to 15 alphanumeric characters)
Data Open: String of the date the order is opened.
Target Date: String of the date when the order has to be completed.
Can the above to be send/emailed so that a user will see this data on his/her smart phone and open a page?
TIA
