>I agree! I haven't even attempted to update the GIT repository for years. There are very few people using Dabo. But I still have two customers that use it. Both are large installs and they are doing very well with the code I wrote. In one case 250 thousand lines of code. Also Robin's (the author of wxPython) son help me with dGrid. Works very well.
And I just moved on to my next app - the FES (fox screen savior) is now going to be a python/dabo thingy, because it doesn't see, or store, the filenames of photos if they contain đčć in the filename. Which I won't have, this codepage blindness is equivalent to omitting each h in english when after a consonant and singling out the double consonants, so this sentence would read as „Whic I won't have, tis codepage blindnes is equivalent to omiting eac h in english when after a consonant“.
Once
in 2003 I had a job interview, and the main question on it was „name three weak spots of VFP“. Took me five seconds to come up with the list: 1) single platform, it lost unix and mac versions and is now windows only, 2) not unicode, 3) it's M$, and there VFP is the unwanted stepchild which is smarter than the heir. And, oh boy, was I right.
