Hi to everyone,

I have an application (executable file) running in a LAN environment with 5 work stations. All work stations are mapped to the Server. All workstations are working fine. Then we bought 2 new PCs and I was trying to add them as another work stations and run the installer created on InstallShield (which we've been using to install VFP runtime libraries and its components) on the new PCs and then connected the new PCs by mapping it to the server then created shortcuts on its desktops. When trying to open the application, it will take some time to start, and then won't continue to open and then closes immediately in a few seconds. The other existing 5 workstation and the Server are all still working fine and still can be use and being used. I've tried disabling the anti virus and windows built-in anti virus and the firewall to see if any of those are blocking the apps. I've tried also adding the application into windows as exemption/inclusion. Having done the disabling and the exemption/inclusion, still the application won't continue to run and the closes immediate but the other existing workstations are still running. I have no clue as to why it doesn't work since the same procedure were done previously on the 5 existing workstations and the Server . The only thing I can think of is that my installer may have been corrupted and it did not completely created the installation process? But I didn't get any error message during the installation, but I've noticed that it finished installing more quickly than usual. I'm not really sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Sonny
