VFP6a
I have applied Service Pack 1 and the three upgrades available at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/downloads/updates.asp
I have folder ...\msdn98\98oct\1033\samples\vfp98
and folder ...\msdn98\98VSa\1033\samples\vfp98 which I have set
and folder ...\msdn98\98VS\1033\

Tools | Options | File Locations | Samples Directory have been reset

Now when I use the links from Help, I get lots of error messages

The files folder ...98oct... are more recent than the ...98VSa... files.

Anyone installed the Service pack and knows the solution ?

I have tried setting the help file to Foxhelp.chm and MSDNVs6a.col as suggested in the help file

If I run DO (home() + 'hlp2fox' ) WITH 'solution', 'modify'
which is the command that HELP finally tries to run, then it all works, but it will not work from the HELP link.

I thought that I had posted this message to Troubleshooting - but it did not show up. Guess this is the right place now that I have found this thread.
TIA

>>Ok so the help engine does indeed work. If you use Tools, Options, File Locations, select Help File and Modify, try using the ... button to locate the file and make sure Use Help File is checked.
