>I agree Python was easy for me to move away from Fox because Python reminded me of the same concepts of OOP that Fox has. Also several of the Python IDE's are just wonderful to work with (VS code, Wing, PyCharm).

Grandson #2 is taking his masters in computer science at Rutgers.
He's way ahead of me but we talk a lot and I can keep up with most of what he tells me,
So far, the language they're using is Java from the command line- no IDE.
That makes zero sense to me but the computer science mavens seem to like it.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
