Just treated myself with a looong weekend, returned an hour ago :).

Switched to python/dabo for three simple resons: 1) no unicode, 2) winowses, 3) microsoft. IOW, the old fox per se could have done all I ever wanted, and I would have stayed with it if there was a solution for these three.
