Wondering if I can have two versions of QB on the same computer.

What we have is a very old version QB 2013 we about 10 companies. 8 of the companies have maybe 2 transaction a month. But 2 have a lot. I was think I should move the 2 companies to the latest versions of QB.

What I believe is the latest version of QB cost about $30 a month. But can I keep the old version (with the 8 companies) and move the 2 companies to the latest version of QB without screwing up the old version of QB?

The old version of QB is a desktop version.
