>if you use data-bound textbox then TTOD() should be in Textbox.ControlSource. If it's unbound then the place is Textbox.Refresh method: This.Value=TTOD(...

Hi Edward,

I tried this yesterday. Since I have a controlsource for this (which I'm presuming is what data-bound is all about) I put the "=ttod(table.field)" in the controlsource. I got the error message that states "the datasource for this object must be a variable reference."

It may have to do with the fact that I had built this form with the wizard. I believe that makes it not a regular textbox but something called and embossedfield or something like that. Would that have something to do with it? I'll try deleting the field and making it a texbox today and see if that helps. Do you think that might work?

Thanks for the help.
