>I do agree with Josh solution. Another one should be to flag the Clipper files with an appropriate code page. Fox will recognize the code page and not bother you to chose a new one and Clipper should not sense the difference. Make a backup first!

I have done that on several occasions but it seems that as soon as new records are added to the Clipper tables the code page flag seems to disappear.
