Okay, I misunderstood. Under „display text in a form“ I somehow assumed that you have an active form and want to display text in it. But you actually want to use a form to display some text and then remove the form.

The easiest thing would be to create a copy of any modal form you already have, something with a cancel button, then remove everything else except your big label and the cancel button - which you may move off the form, negative coordinates etc. And add a timer on three seconds, which will kill the form.

There are a dozen ways to skin this cat.
