I am using FoxPro 3.0 for Macintosh. I want to use a grid to build a graph. The graph consists of a vertical line with horizontal lines crossing it to show intervals, like this:

---|--
-|-
-- |
--|-----
---|--

To keep the graph in a grid I divide it into parts where each part has a horizontal line and part of the vertical line. I create a control consisting of a container with two lines and inserts such objects into a grid.

My problem is how to get the horizontal lines to have different positions in different rows. When controls like check boxes are inserted into a grid they have a control source that decides the state of the control, but how can you do the same thing with lines?

Any help would be appreciated.
