I have seen many examples of 3-tiered relationships in VFP but can't get any to work within my app. Keep getting the following: Target table is already engaged in a relation." The data environment does not open and everything crashes. Here's the scenario:
We have three tables: primary, child, auxiliary hereafter referred to table_a, table_b and table_c. All are opened in the dataenvironment. Table_a is related to table_b with a the parent, b the child. Both tables include the primary key and this is used to relate them together. The relationship is set as "one to many". Table_b is then linked to table_c using a non-indexed field (in table_b -- it is indexed in table_c). The parent and child names seem to be correct in each relationship.
Why can't I get this to work? What is missing?
