Thank you for your prompt reply. However, I am slightly concerned about the speed of re-building a grid.
I have left another message which outlines what I'm trying to do. But essentially, I am trying to create a grid which allows the developer to "lock" a number of columns starting from the leftmost column and "scroll" through the rest of the columns. If you have used MS Project or MS Excel, it is similar in nature to ID or Row column.

So worst case I would have to re-build the grid after every scroll of the grid. Hence, my fear. Having said that, I have no idea of the speed ramifications of removing a column object and re-adding it, potentially several tmes over.

I'm sorry that I wasn't specific enough in my original query.

If you could offer me some more advice, I would more than welcome it.
