If you know where your data is, you can just SET PATH TO it.

ActiveDocs are fairly useless in terms of providing any help to data access
issues across the Internet/IP network, so you're dealing with the same
local data enigne as you would with a standalone app.

What I do when I use ActiveDocs, have a little install routine built into
it which packages up all support files into a database and then installs
them as needed in the proper directory when the app runs for the very first
time.
