I really don't know, Rod, because it depends on what may already exist at those "several offices".
For instance, if they already have network installed, then maybe some simple 'extension' would suffice.
If the application works mainly on a record basis (eg single 'customer' record and that cust's set of transactions) then maybe simple modem connection would suffice.
If it requires all 150MB of data to be moved through the processing PC, then some redesign, which would also be required to make C/S work, may be needed. That would still be easier than starting at the bottom of both C/S and SQL Server.
As I have heard them, the more common and traditional reasons for adopting C/S are very large databases (over 2 gig), need to access a variety of database types, corporate strategy, and security. None of those appear to be applicable here.
