You do not have to have either language in order to create scripts. The script files are straight text files, and the language interpretation is done by the script processor (wscript.exe). You do, however have to be using a scriptable e-mail application, such as Outlook for example (Outlook express is not currently scriptable). Let me know which e-mail client you are using, and I'll see if I can whip up an example for you.
