.. and in the spirit of the Season, a rare story [true] of rational behaviour in our local public system last week.

A student of middle-eastern decent was unfortable with all the Christmas activities going on in his school expressed his feelings to his parents. The parents had a rational discussion with the school officials. The result was they all thought it would be a great idea to bring in people of as many of the different *religions* and have their traditions explained to the student body.

Usually this would be taken straight to court, blah, blah, blah. Instead, the children got an un-biased education in different cultures. Ya know, this will probably go a long way to help those kids respect others.
