>Well Marcus I gave up. I needed to get this project out of here to I ditched VFP6.0. I looked at all the threads you suggested and saw no concreate solution, just a lot of talk about who's falt it was. Personally, I think falt is not relevant here as we have a product that fails with the most popular printer - opperating system combination on the market! This makes the program dangerous at best and usless at worst. I will stick to 5 for now until I see a better solution.

I totally agree! I consider this a major issue for my application, I can't believe the MS doesn't consider it one. Maybe they think, " Nobody uses HP printers anyway, do they?" Well about 50% of my users do. With the number of patches and service packs they've already put out I can't believe they haven't addressed this issue. Unfortunately, I went from VFP3 to 6, and have decided to bite the bullet and switch affected users to the MS laserjet 4 drivers if I have to. Perhaps the holiday season will spark a Christmas miracle and they'll release a patch in time! However, I've been at Microsoft during the holidays, a pretty lonely place. I don't count on much getting done in the next few weeks. Good Luck.
Marcus.
