For some reason, no matter how many records that I append to the child table only the last record is showing up in the grid. I did refresh the grid and I also select the parent table and select back the child to see if that would help but nothing is working. Does anyone know what is the problem here ?????

Make sure the recordsource for your grid is the child table.
