Did you start your report with template.frx ??? This report has code in the BeforeOpenTables of the DE...

The cReportSessionEnvironment has

SET TALK OFF
SET DELETED ON

...so, it sounds like you didn't follow the directions in the Developer's Guide on Creating reports. If you are in version 4.x it is around page 205.

If you don't have template.frx in your reports directory, you can get it from \cdbk30\generic\reports
