Is your client running on NT 4.0 Workstation? I had a similar problem with the same symptons you described. This is apparently a know bug in VFP 5.0. I had a thread here yesterday with Plinio reagrding the same.

Rather than do dual reports (One for viewing, one for printing) which is what Microsoft had suggested, another developer found a fix on the Visual Studio page which he downloaded and we tried today. Everything looks great now. I don't have the exact URL but you might try searching that page.
