Not true. NOT ALL C0000005 ERRORS ARE RELATED TO DCOM. The only C0000005 error that is documented as tied to the lack of a proper DCOM install is a C0000005 error occurring at shutdown when the application has been started without a visible Main FOxPro window (ie SCREEN=OFF in CONFIG.FPW, with either _screen.visible = .t. occurring in the app, or a top-level form activated after the application starts.)

The most friustrating thing about documenting an error properly is that people don't read beyond the fact that there's a relation between an error code and a fix. There are very specific circumstances associated with the problem, and assuming that DCOM is a panacea for all C0000005 errors will do noone any good.
