This 2was a bug in the original release of VFP 5.0 which was fixed later. It is related to having a timer running while using the combo. The shorter the timer's interval the worse the problem. You can either disable the timer or go to www.microsoft.com/vfoxpro and down load the update to VFP 5.0A.
