G'Day.
I've been using CIPHER5.FLL, a public domain encryption program originally created by Tom Rettig for Foxpro 2.0, and updated by a couple of people to (finally) VFP 5. Has been working for me like a charm for a while. Mainly, under NT 4.0

Today, I took it an app to a client site, and lo and behold, VFP 5.0B complains that CIPHER5.FLL is invalid on one machine running the original unupdated Window 95 (Says version 4.00.950) Yet the same thing works like a charm on version 4.00.950 B - an OEM Windows 95.

The question is: does anyone have the foggiest idea why? What could be different in the two sersions of Windows that would cause VFP to think that the FLL was invalid?

What all the fixes that there might be to Win 95 on the MS site might solve the problem?

Thanks

Larry
