Nothing like Christmas eve and a rare pre Christmas snowfall in Vancouver to get one thinking...
Why am I hearing the odd rumour that VFP has a year 2000 bug (no-one seems to have the details, but this is the 2nd time I've heard it). I am in the completion stages of migrating a DOS system to VFP 6 and this does NOT do the project anything that resembles good!
Another thing... Is there anyone else out there that thought the original Help machine (DOS 2.5) was pretty good. And then accepted the windows help engine (pretty good and standardized things). And then was hit with the much slower 'new standard' which gets really slow in real life with 75-133 Mhz Pentiums used by clients in a Network environment!
There... I feel MUCH better! :)
