If you are using @SAY and @GET in VFP you are heading down a road of destruction. You need to be creating Forms with Visual FoxPro. In my opinion I would not count on @SAY and @GET being around much longer. Also there is no reason to use these constructs. They are for 2.x compatability only.
The Visual FoxPro form designer is a much better tool for developing forms and has much more power than @SAY and @GET ever did. The form designer can seem intimidating at time especially coming from 2.x but the advantages greatly outweigh the disadvantages.
I am not a zealot that says what other people do is wrong but in this case I feel you need to make a course correction ASAP.
