Does anybody know how FoxPro locks a specific record?
It is easy to use an API to lock a file by opening it in share mode
and then allowing read only. But how do you allow read only to
a portion of a file. And specifically how does FoxPro (and dBase)
do it? I am not refering to semaphore locks.
