Well, I could venture a guess:

Since your advice was actually nothing to feel guilty about (reasonably), maybe you are mis-directing your guilt about something else to this, which is more easily identified. It is like this: "I feel guilty, what can this be about?" And you mistakenly think it is the advice you offered here. I would examine other aspects of your life and see if you can determine what you are REALLY feeling guilty about...
