I'm playing with the native report designer for the first time in years -- may be the last time in years.

In "print when", if I check "remove line if blank", the line should be removed and all floating items below the line should move up, right? It's not happening.

I'm checking the controlling field -- that is the one that determines wheter any of the items on the line have a non-blank value. Is this sufficient or do I have to check "remove line if blank" for all items on the line? If so, exactly what is a blank label?
