My friend, I am not going to let you get away with that. :)
A program can be very powerful and still quite intuitive and a joy to use. See, e.g. TurboTax for Windows™, Intuit's Quicken™ and my all time favorite 3-D Chief Architect™ (by Bruderbund, no less) a CAD program that practically operates itself.
There's no reason for this thing to be so obtuse. And it would certainly help if MS actually documented it sometime.
